These have to be arranged yourself and is separate to the university.

The Gateway Building 

Open: 9 am – 9 pm on weekdays, 9 am – 5 pm on weekends 

Accessibility: All students 

Facilities: 52 study spaces, printer 

Additional: Grassy area for studying outside or taking a break in the sun 

St Mary’s College and King James Libraries 

Open: 9 am – 11 pm 

Accessibility: All students 

Facilities: 44 study spaces, self-service machine, printer 

Location: St Mary’s Quadrangle, a lovely enclosed green space for study breaks 

JF Allen Library 

Open: 8 am – 8:30 pm on weekdays, 9 am – 5 pm on weekends 

Accessibility: All students 

Facilities: 70 study spaces, self-service machine, printer 

Location: Upstairs in the Physics building on the North Haugh 

Martyrs Kirk, Thomson Reading Room 

Open: 8 am – 11:30 pm (Postgraduate students) 

Facilities: 40 study spaces 

Location: 80 North Street 

Main Library 

Open: 8 am – 12 midnight 

Accessibility: All students 

Facilities: 780 drop-in study spaces, 70 bookable spaces, self-service machines

Ettie Stewart Steele Reading Room (Chemistry Building)
